Drawing lots: the procedure
If you were not selected decentrally, you have to enter the central selection procedure. This means that you will be allocated a number and a category. There are four categories: B, C, D, and E. Category B offers the best chances of drawing a place, category E the least. The law stipulates that prospective students with a foreign diploma are classified in category C. Your number is also significant: lower numbers have a better chance of drawing a place.
